Rediscover......a holiday without shopping! You may be on the wrong Island if you are looking for shopping. Part of the uniqueness of Santo is the feeling of stepping back in time. Start at one end of town and walk into each shop, you may chance upon the occasional rare find, unusual objects and very odd bits and pieces. We are not a shopping Mecca, but that’s what’s so special...You can, however, find a little something for everyone. You will be amazed at Luganville’s 24 hour market place. Villagers all over Santo, come to sell their organic crops. A new market arrives weekly and replenishes the produce of vegetables, fruit, nuts, baskets and local food stalls. Not to mention plenty of smiles all round. |
